从凯文出发,向世界奔跑

 

 

从走进朝阳凯文校园的那一刻起,气派的教学楼、宽敞的操场、各类高端的体育场馆、时不时就会上演音乐剧的大剧院,甚至连餐厅的菜系,都处处体现着肉眼可见的融合丰富与包容多元。无论你来自哪个城市、哪个国家,在这个校园中,总有一处细节是和你有关的。她会让你忘却冰冷、忘却孤单、忘却身在他乡……

 

如果你有幸在朝阳凯文学习、工作和生活,那你一定知道,这里的“丰富多彩”可不是随便说说的。

 

 

 

学科学术融合

 

在朝阳凯文小学部,除了有一帮古灵精怪的孩子们,还有一群舐犊情深的“大孩子们”,他们每天都在绞尽脑汁,用尽毕生绝学来研究各种方式方法,为的就是让孩子们每天都能爱上学习、快乐学习。

 

孩子们在老师们的奇思妙想中一天天长大,每一个都是 “小小年纪、大大能量”,国学诗词、数学英语、舞蹈戏剧、艺术武术、击剑棒球、游泳体育、冰球科创,样样精通。老师们给予的信任与包容,让朝阳凯文的孩子们做起事来永远都是充满自信。即便是六七岁的娃娃,在老师的眼中,一样有能力按照自己的方式取得成功。“失败了不怕,我一直都是你的后盾!”

 

 

中学部的课程虽然没有小学那么五花八门,但在学科上的深入与延展,为中学生们的思维养成提供了坚实稳固的开拓空间。

 

英语阅读分享、优秀作业展示、非艺术方向学生的专业视觉艺术课程、用古典音乐演奏/视频剪辑/话剧表演等方式解读对小说的读后感、用戏剧课学习英语、针对五年级学生开展的初中课程体验项目等等,都在极大限度上将不同学科融合。学科融合能够推动知识的交叉和创新,激发学生多领域技能提升,便于形成知识体系,增强对知识点的理解。

 

 

 

中学三大学部融合

 

朝阳凯文中学部,包含三大学部:国际课程项目(ICP)、艺术课程项目(ACP)与普高课程项目(NCP)。每个学部都遵循各自独立的教育目标与课程体系,但又同时彼此协作、彼此支持、形成合力,与其他兄弟学部一起,共同推进学术发展和文化建设。

 

在过去的一个月里,三个学部分别组织了风格迥异的学部集会。但无论是哪一个学部的主场,另外两个兄弟学部都是鼎力相助。

 

ICP

 

来自国际课程项目(ICP)的“书香校园 · 整本书阅读”成果展中,三大学部的同学互相配合,分别用各自擅长的领域,完美诠释了对小说的理解,打破了固有读书的单一模式。

 

ACP

 

来自艺术课程项目(ACP)的“跨文化新年汇演”,更是聚集了三大学部的表演高手,每一个节目都让人过目不忘。

 

NCP

 

普高课程项目(NCP)的“家国情怀主题集会”,展现了中华子孙对自身文化的珍视、对祖国的深情厚意以及对全球社会的关注和参与。

 

 

多元文化的教师团队融合

 

朝阳凯文学校拥有一支实力活力兼具的教师团队,外籍教师来自世界各地的英语国家。老师们的兴趣和热情是最好的催化剂,不仅让学生们在学习生活中充满好奇心与探索欲,同时与中方教师更是双剑合璧,相互取长补短。班主任一中一西的搭配,不仅极大限度的调动了学生们的积极性,老师们之间更是通过娴熟的双语技能和跨文化交流,培养了很深厚的感情。

 

元旦新年,有谁不想和家人团聚呢?当外籍教师们手拉手,为全校师生献上歌曲,看到这些身在异乡,为国际教育事业奉献一己之力的老师们,台下的师生们感动不已。

#Integration across disciplines

 

At CKWA primary school, to make children fall in love with learning and enjoy learning every day, teachers spare no effort in using their imagination to inspire them. In traditional Chinese poetry, mathematics, English, dance, drama, arts, martial arts, fencing, baseball, swimming, fitness, ice hockey and stem, the trust and tolerance given by the teachers make the children of Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy always confident in their learning.

 

The deepening and extension of disciplines in the secondary school provides a solid and stable space for the cultivation of thinking among secondary school students. English reading sharing, excellent homework displays, professional visual arts courses for international curriculum program students, interpreting their ideas of a novel through classical music performance/video editing/drama performance, learning English through drama classes, and opening lower secondary school experience course to G5 students…these have all illustrated the integration of various disciplines. Discipline integration can promote the intersection and innovation of knowledge, stimulate students to improve their skills in multiple fields, facilitate the formation of their knowledge system, and enhance their understanding of knowledge points.

 

#Integration across programs

 

CKWA secondary school includes three programs, that is, International Curriculum Program (ICP), Art Curriculum Program (ACP), and National Curriculum Program (NCP). Each program follows its own independent educational goals and curriculum system, but at the same time, they collaborate, support each other, and form a joint force, working together with other parallel programs to promote academic development and build culture.

 

#Unity of faculties with multi-cultural background

 

Chaoyang Kaiwen Academy has a strong and dynamic teaching faculty, with international teachers from English speaking countries around the world. The interest and enthusiasm of teachers is the best catalysts for the curiosity and exploration of students in their learning and life. Meanwhile, international teachers and Chinese teachers complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses. The co-homeroom teacher model of one Chinese and one international teacher not only greatly stimulates the enthusiasm of students, but also cultivates deep emotions among teachers through cross-cultural communication.
